</P><P>These parameters are used by companies as a management tool and give them the possibility of demonstrating performance and progress, identifying weak points and adopting necessary corrective measures. An increasing number of companies use the parameters also as a basis for their environmental reports or for corresponding comments in their Annual Reports.scienceindustries uses the consolidated RC-parameters to illustrate and communicate the performance of the chemical and pharmaceutical industry in the area of Safety, Health and Environmental Protection.</P><P/><P>The publication of these parameters aims at improving the transparency of the RC-activities of the chemical and pharmaceutical industry in Switzerland.</P><P>
